Instrumentation Maintenance Expert

About this role: We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Maintenance Expert who will lead the effort in developing, assigning, and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for performing engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instrumentation and electrical maintenance and inspection, as well as experience in field instrumentation preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technics with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Instrumentation and Electrical maintenance and inspection
  • Field instrumentation preventive and predictive maintenance techniques

Added Advantage:

  • SAP PM Module, Asset Performance Management

This role requires close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management, as well as knowledge of hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.
