Company Overview Reliance Retail India s largest and fastest-growing retailer is renowned for its extensive omni-channel presence and superior customer value proposition With a vast network of over 15 000 stores across 7 000 cities Reliance Retail offers unmatched shopping experiences in Consumer Electronics Fashion Grocery Pharma and Connectivity Headquartered in Mumbai the company continues to enhance its capabilities and product offerings through strategic growth initiatives Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager for our Beverages Business unit located in Surat This is a full-time position requiring expertise in managing preventive maintenance equipment reliability and utilities The role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations and enhancing equipment performance within the business The ideal candidate will have proven experience in maintaining complex systems and will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated expertise in preventive maintenance ensuring equipment is maintained and serviced to prevent breakdowns Mandatory skill Strong understanding of equipment reliability techniques to maximize the uptime and efficiency of machinery Mandatory skill Proficiency in utilities management ensuring cost-effective and reliable supply of utilities and resources Mandatory skill Experience in vendor management for sourcing maintenance services and materials effectively and efficiently In-depth knowledge of automation systems to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies Familiarity with reliability engineering practices to enhance the dependability and lifecycle of plant equipment A strong commitment to continuous improvement driving proactive changes to processes and systems for higher performance Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners and manage expectations Roles and Responsibilities Lead the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of plant equipment and machinery Implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime and increase operational efficiency Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance operations Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for maintenance services and supplies Coordinate the installation and upgrading of automation systems for enhanced manufacturing processes Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and develop strategies for reliability improvement Develop and manage maintenance budgets effectively while monitoring expenses and cost-savings measures Mentor and train maintenance staff to build a skilled and responsive team capable of tackling complex challenges
