Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced lead to spearhead our quality assurance automation efforts.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our enterprise platform. They will be responsible for leading a team of automation engineers to achieve maximum automation coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using programming languages such as Java and Selenium.
  • Automate big data workflows, including ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem.
  • Design and set up the Big Data platform and Hadoop ecosystem for testing.
  • Create test strategies and write test plans for data platform enhancements and new features/services built on it.
  • Define operating procedures, service monitors, and alerts, and work with the NOC team to implement them.
  • Responsible for system & performance testing of the data platform and applications.
  • Solve complex engineering problems, provide technical consultation, and review product specifications.
  • Identify issues and suggest possible solutions.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in full-time testing role, with at least 4-6 years in hands-on automation role as lead.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
  • Experience in designing and building automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in automating backend applications.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Good debugging skills.
  • Working experience in Linux/Unix environment.
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Experience in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic.
