Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Specialist
About the Role:- We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test cases within our software development lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate will create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
- This role involves testing new system software versions using automated testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- They will also attend project meetings to discuss issues and report on the status of testing.
- Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of general Quality Assurance experience with multi-tiered complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry is necessary.
- 2+ years of experience working with OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with UFT is preferred.
- Experience with bug tracking software (e.g. Jira) and Test Case Management Tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with financial products, e.g. FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc… is beneficial.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++) is a plus.
