Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves ensuring the high quality of products by performing manual and automation testing, developing test cases, and collaborating with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform manual and automation testing to ensure product quality, develop and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts, conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Bug Tracking and Collaboration: Identify and track bugs using tools like JIRA or TestRail, collaborate with dev and product teams to align on requirements and fixes.
  • Automation Testing and CI/CD Pipelines: Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation testing, validate networking-related features and ensure ITIL/ITSM compliance.
  • Analytics and Root Cause Analysis: Analyze logs, support root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in ITSM or networking products.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of manual testing, bug tracking, and agile processes, basic experience with APIs, SQL, and performance testing tools like JMeter, familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, Appium (a plus), knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, SNMP), exposure to CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
