Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and quality assurance of software applications.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality software products and have excellent analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Test and evaluate software applications to ensure they meet required standards, identifying defects or bugs and reporting them to the development team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve software quality.

  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of total IT experience, with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance.

  • Experience in data migration projects and data lake testing, including knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data testing.

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and methodologies, as well as manual testing skills.

  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data migration and data lake concepts, including data warehousing and business intelligence.

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS/Snowflake.

Working Conditions

The selected candidate will work on a full-time basis at our office location in Kanpur, India.

The working hours will be 5 days a week, onsite only. No remote or hybrid work arrangement is available.
