Senior Payroll Consultant Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing expert-level support and guidance in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions for the US and Canada regions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To act as a subject matter expert (70% functional and 30% technical) in payroll processes and elements setup/configurations for US and Canada region.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of payroll processes, element setups, and configurations for US and Canada region.
  • Assist with year-end knowledge, including T4/RL1/W4, and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed functional requirements, document these in functional specifications, and perform regression testing of RICE components.
  • Provide analysis and consultation on implementing new software application products or new modules or any new requirement in existing applications.
  • Support data integrity and governance by validating accuracy through reporting and queries, supporting large/complex data imports and extracts, and developing and maintaining integrations/file transfers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant fields is required; master's degree is an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions, preferably with implementations experience in the US and Canada regions.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules and Payroll area.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), positive attitude, and ability to work independently.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working on payroll balance initializations and balance adjustments for US and Canada localizations.
  • Knowledge of BIP and OTBI development.
  • SDLC and JIRA knowledge.
  • HDl experience.
  • Ability to write fast formulas for payroll elements.
  • North America Taxation expertise.

Education/Certifications:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant fields is required.

Location and Work Schedule:
