Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing share transfer processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee share transfer processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth transfer processes, obtaining necessary approvals and preparing required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of share ownership and related transactions.
Partners' Books Maintenance:
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records and books of partners.
  • Prepare and update financial statements for partners, including profit shares calculations.
  • Support audit processes and prepare relevant documentation as needed.
Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report preparation.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities; present actionable findings to management.
Compliance & Governance:
  • Evaluate adherence to internal control systems, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish best practices for finance operations, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • CMA qualification (Cost & Management Accountant), fully qualified or in advanced stage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance operations, specifically in share transfers and partners' books maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient user of accounting software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
