Remote Support Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless operations for global meetings, events, and webcasts by delivering exceptional support to users and executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage video conferencing, audio/visual, and webcasting technologies to guarantee continuous uptime.
  • Assist in scheduling, modifying, and cancelling white glove conferences and webcasts while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Open, update, and resolve service tickets related to AV and webcasting technologies within established timeframes.
  • Monitor and update support queues for current and upcoming AV technologies and webcast incidents to provide accurate information to users.
  • Escalate complex issues to third-level support or manufacturer/vendor support teams to prevent prolonged downtime.
Video Call and Webcast Support:
  • Verify that video endpoints are online and operational prior to each event.
  • Prepare and support webcast events, including creating event webpages and conducting dry runs to identify potential issues.
  • Monitor live webcast events and troubleshoot issues as needed to maintain a high level of quality.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in AV support, video conferencing, and webcast management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Video Codecs, VBrick Rev, and related AV/IT infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
