About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Server Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You will work closely with our infrastructure team to design, implement, and maintain our server infrastructure, ensuring it meets our business needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
  • Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).
  • Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
