Job Title: Advanced Infrastructure Specialist

At the forefront of our organization's technology, we are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as an Advanced Infrastructure Specialist. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of technical prowess and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust Linux infrastructure solutions to drive business growth.
  • Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technological challenges.
  • Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Expertise in LVM concepts, including FS creation, extension, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of multipath concepts and ability to validate, add LUNs, and enable multipath.
  • Able to ensure performance specifications are met and evaluate/correct OS vulnerabilities through patching.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to log rotate, manage FS usage, change permissions/ownership, and implement changes according to application and DB team requirements at the OS level.
  • Follow SLA guidelines, adhere to Wirpo and Customer Process, and handle BAU tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in service management (NTP, SSH, AUTOFS) and fixing server access and bootable issues, including grub fixing.
  • OS-level trouble shooting to bring up servers and added advantage of OS migration.
