Job Title: Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We seek seasoned engineering leaders with 10+ years of experience and proven leadership skills to drive product and project commitments for our team.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading delivery of products and projects, participating in product roadmap discussions, providing input in design, modeling, and architectural decisions. Owning and driving project estimations and operations for implementing high-quality solution delivery and technology upgrades.
  2. Guiding teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes. Driving efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output. Creating designs that improve flexibility, functionality, and usability of system components.
  3. Defining non-functional requirements and building a system that meets requirements. Performing design and code reviews. Overseeing project logistics and resource allocation.
  4. Utilizing tools and techniques to enhance quality of code and design with a focus on constant reduction of code debt. Suggesting the best design and implementation methodology.
  5. Collaborating with other team leaders and departments. Building and developing required competence in the team.
  6. Mentoring team members and preparing them for possible future roles.
What We're Looking For:

Experience & Portfolio:

Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering is required. Around 7-15 years of total experience working on delivery/development/team management etc. Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology. Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience. Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in mobile technologies like Android. Good understanding in commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL.

Technical Skills & Efficiency:

Personnel and project management skills are essential. Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes is required. Organizational, planning, and documentation skills are necessary. Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders is required. Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously is crucial. Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus. Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product is required. Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions is necessary. Experience in fintech space is an advantage.

  1. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  2. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Adaptability: Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.
