The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the Linux stack: kernel, user-space, file systems, and process management. They should also be familiar with bootloader, kernel debugging, and diagnostic tools such as GDB, strace, dmesg, and system logs. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of Linux security, networking, and user management.

Candidates should also be exposed to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as virtualization technologies. A solid understanding of data structures and software design principles is also required. Furthermore, they should have a proven track record in leading full software development lifecycle on semiconductor platforms.

A minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 6+ years of software engineering experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, and shell scripting is also required.
