Job Title: Senior Linux Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the stability of our Linux Kernel and System level issues for Qualcomm chipsets.

Key Responsibilities
  • To debug Linux Kernel and System level issues for Qualcomm chipsets
  • To contribute to the stability team in debugging and resolving complex technical issues
  • To work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
  • OR A Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience
  • OR A PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python etc.
  • Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain
  • Excellent knowledge of ARM architecture
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel and the device driver model
  • Expert level knowledge of C
  • Prior experience with Android is a plus
  • Knowledge of debug tools such as JTAG
  • Mastery of Linux operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
