Azure Cloud Native Architecture Lead

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Native Architecture Lead to design and implement cloud-native infrastructure for enterprise-grade applications.

This role requires expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), architecture, automation and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, cloud architecture and a deep understanding of AKS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define end-to-end AKS-based workload architectures in Azure.
  • Design multi-environment, multi-region AKS architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling and governance in AKS.
  • Advise on cost optimization strategies for AKS and related Azure resources.
Azure & AKS Expertise
  • Architect and provision AKS clusters with features like autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation and managed identities.
  • Integrate AKS with supporting Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus and Grafana, Azure Container Registry and Azure Key Vault.
DevOps & Automation
  • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments.
  • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins for AKS workloads.
Security & Compliance
  • Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for AKS access.
  • Integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
Monitoring, Logging & Observability
  • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus, Container Insights and Grafana.
  • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection and incident response playbooks.

Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture or related roles; 5+ years hands-on Azure experience with deep AKS expertise. Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture, Azure networking, IaC tools and container security.
