Senior Application Performance Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior QA Engineer specializing in Application Performance and Regression Testing. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of application performance engineering expertise, meticulous regression testing practices, and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures. They will design, execute, and analyze performance and regression tests, identify critical bottlenecks, and ensure seamless application functionality post-migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Test Planning: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for complex enterprise applications.
  • Test Script Development: Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
  • Application Monitoring: Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to pinpoint root causes of performance degradation.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Application Performance Testing and Engineering, with a strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter. They will also be familiar with APM tools and cloud-native monitoring services.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Application Performance Testing and Engineering.
  • Regression Testing: 3+ years of experience in Application Regression Testing.
  • Performance Testing Tools: Demonstrated expertise with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with at least two significant engagements involving the analysis and migration of existing enterprise applications to cloud environments.
