Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to contribute to the development of our cloud-native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and be willing to learn new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services
  • Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployments using our products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with programming in Python or Golang
  • 8-12 years of experience in a software development role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing, and network protocols
  • Prior experience in developing networking products is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Openstack/Devstack is a plus
  • Prior experience with Linux networking stack, kernel modules, and device drivers is a plus
