Head of Mass Retail Distribution

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Head of Mass Retail Distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive distribution strategy aimed at achieving market leadership through growth in revenues and market share.

The selected individual will oversee the formulation of a robust distribution channel strategy to drive business growth, focusing on attaining trade advocacy and sustainable reach. This role also involves gathering insights from competition intelligence and providing strategic inputs to the overall sales strategy to enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective distribution channel strategy to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Formulate and manage targets for the distribution channel, encompassing both business and distribution KPIs (Gross, GAS, DURO, etc).
  • Lead the development of a channel expansion strategy by evaluating distribution coverage, penetration, and performance.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in mass retail distribution or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-geography teams to bring best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution planning and channel strategy implementation.
  • Ability to effectively manage large numbers of partners with varying sizes and complexity.
