Job Title: Chief Estimating Officer

The Chief Estimating Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and aligned cost estimates with project specifications. This position oversees the work of estimating specialists and collaborates with various departments to maintain controlled and competitive project costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimation process for projects, assessing quantities and material costs with precision.
  • Review and validate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
  • Oversee and mentor junior estimating specialists, guaranteeing the accuracy and timeliness of their work.
  • Prepare final cost reports and support the estimation manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in estimating, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in estimation software.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team management skills.
