Job Description

This role is responsible for managing payroll processes for global enterprises, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and delivering effective HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation, documentation, and disbursement of all payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Perform reconciliation and validation of data to ensure accuracy and completeness in payroll processing.
  • Ensure timely compliance payments to statutory authorities, including EPFO, professional taxes, income tax, and other relevant entities.
  • Validate payroll outputs, bank files, and payroll journals to guarantee data integrity.
  • Lead third-party payroll vendors and facilitate resolution of payroll issues between vendors and S P A Enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Legal, to develop processes and policies.
  • Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues that require intense interpretation.
  • Handle exit administration tasks, including resignation, retirement, duplication, and other related activities.
  • Be responsible for third-party administration processing, including vendor invoicing and coordination with Finance for payment.
  • Provide operational support and contribute to local country Centre of Excellence (CoEs).
  • Communicate payroll updates to employees, drafting communication materials before release to targeted audiences.
  • Maintain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) readiness by reviewing, updating, and testing BCP regularly.
  • Ensure proper documentation for controls and audits.
  • Guarantee governmental reporting and compliance.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes through solution recommendations and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, customer experience, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the Quality framework to ensure efficient Quality Assurance, Quality Audit, Quality improvement, and Knowledge management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in handling Payroll systems, supporting statutory requirements, and aligning payroll systems towards delivering effective HR processes.
  • Must have experience with ADP Payroll Implementation and Support projects.
  • Must have payroll expertise in either Americas, APAC, UKI, or EMEA geographies.
  • Prior working experience in SAP-HCM or Workday-HCM projects in a payroll consulting role is preferable.
