Job Title:

Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our operations team. As an Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

About the Role:

  • Manage multiple teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement optimized processes to increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and laws
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes
  • Lead and motivate a large team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling operations
  • Past experience in waste management is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to persuade others

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance Management: Ensure brands comply with existing rules and regulations
  2. Standardization: Standardize formats according to government, brand, or recykal requirements
  3. Documentation: Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands
  4. Follow-ups: Proactively follow up with key brands and stakeholders associated with recykal
  5. Attention to Detail: Have a keen eye for details, especially in terms of compliance-related documentation
  6. Team Management: Handle multiple teams on-field and off-field
  7. Process Optimization: Increase efficiency of team by building optimized processes of completions
  8. Communication: Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  9. Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  10. Strategic Objectives: Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  11. Operational Activities: Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters
  12. Staffing: Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  13. Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
  14. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the processes of implementation
  15. Compliance: Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure activities remain compliant.
