Job Description:

The position of Unified Communications Engineer is crucial for the organization's enterprise-wide communication systems. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing voice, video, messaging, and collaboration systems across a global scale.

This engineer will be responsible for expertise in Zoom Telephone services, Microsoft Teams telephony, and AV Zoom Rooms, as well as advanced SBC (Session Border Controller) and contact center management.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Unified Communications, focusing on cloud-based telephony systems like Zoom Phone and Microsoft Teams Phone.

  • Deploy and maintain AudioCodes SBCs and OVOC servers to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize Zoom telephony infrastructure, including contact centers, ensuring seamless voice and messaging services.
  • Administer and manage OVOC server licenses for global operations.
  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Teams phone systems in a fully cloud-based model.

The successful candidate will also possess strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance for UC systems, with certifications in Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate or Enterprise Voice certification highly beneficial.

Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Unified Communications, focusing on cloud-based telephony systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with global teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to lead end-to-end UC implementations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Teams UC platforms, including telephony and AV solutions.
  • AudioCodes SBCs and OVOC servers configuration and maintenance.
  • SIP trunking, call routing, and global telephony integrations.
