Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Unified Communications Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end communication solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and deploying UC solutions on UCS platforms or cloud-based collaboration (Webex Calling, Cisco HCS)
  • Implementing and troubleshooting SIP trunks, PRIs with carriers, including codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic
  • Configuring advanced IOS gateway setup (MGCP, H.323, SIP), dial peers, DSP resources, and survivability strategies
  • Developing and maintaining high availability configurations for clusters, inter-cluster trunks, and unified communications systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UC solutions with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, SIP endpoints, SBCs)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of UC architecture & design, including CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, and Expressways
  • Deep understanding of analog devices such as Analog Gateways, Analog Phones, Fax Devices, DTMF & Dial-tone behavior, FXS/FXO Ports
  • Expertise in call flow engineering across multiple platforms (CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, Expressway)
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud migration strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
