About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Venture Capital Investment Analyst to join our Investments team.

This role offers hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio company management, and ecosystem engagement.

  • Conduct market size analysis and evaluate products/services including technology moats (Intellectual Property/Patents).
  • Assess teams, business models, and financials, identify risk factors, and analyze competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence.
  • Coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Engage with portfolio companies and assist in preparation of updates on the companies.
  • Assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Prepare compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Make presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) as well as investor updates.

Requirements:

  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
  • An insatiable hunger to learn.
