About This Role
- Lead end-to-end procurement projects with a focus on value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and negotiate with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across procurement cycles.
- Manage contract remediation including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
- Negotiate and oversee third-party supplier control obligations and support stakeholders with vendor engagement risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and procurement best practices to strengthen category management.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
- Strong expertise in procurement strategies, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
- Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.
Preferred Skills
- Background in operational/core procurement teams in technology.
- Regulatory remediation experience (data privacy, OCIR, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
