  • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy and driving initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity across India.
  • You will collaborate with a team of procurement professionals, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and establish strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness.
  • You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and work out of our Bangalore location.
  • In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, and supplier quality.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing annual and strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • You will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base, achieve the lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk.
  • Additionally, you will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans.
  • Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive annual saving/cost avoidance.
  • Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk.
  • Participate in new supplier search and development.
  • Drive supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies.
  • Improve sourcing processes and performance through effective management operating systems.
  • Participate in Internal Audits and ensure non-compliance with Indirect Procurement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in IFM/Operation related Projects with Capex/Energy Projects. You should have experience disposing scrap activity and good knowledge of HSE.
  • You should have good supplier knowledge for Training/Hoteling/Transportation in market. Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platforms.
  • Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing.
