Land Acquisition Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead land acquisition efforts for our cement business. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in land acquisition and management. Experience in the cement industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Oversee land acquisition across multiple sites and coordinate with regional teams.
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in private land acquisition, government land allotment, forest land acquisition, and private land acquisition via LARR.
  • Assist in resolving land issues at multiple sites, including litigation regarding title, encroachments, and ceiling limit exemptions.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports to showcase acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation and collation of title search documents with the support of the legal team.
  • Manage stakeholders, including land aggregators, regional land teams, business development teams, legal teams, project teams, and finance teams.
  • Support regional teams in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, coordination with finance teams for fund release, and CAPEX budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor acquisition progress and support in resolving land issues.
  • Coordinate with land aggregators and regional land teams for private land acquisition as per business requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Understanding and knowledge of land laws.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation and submissions, as well as government regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excel proficiency and preparation of MIS reports.
  • Ability to handle and navigate multiple projects.
  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and KMZ.
