Job Title: Portfolio Manager

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the legal aspects of private equity investments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of SEBI (AIF) Regulations, Companies Act, FEMA, and other applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate private equity fund documents, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and term sheets.
  • Provide legal support for deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction documentation for PE investments.
  • Liaise with external counsels, regulators, and transaction advisors to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for investments, approvals, and legal correspondences.
Requirements
