Workday Support Specialist Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide functional and technical support for our client's Workday platform, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer level 2/level 3 support to Workday users, resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Workday integrations and business processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver Workday solutions.
  • Assist with configuration updates, enhancements, and release management.
  • Evaluate the impact of Workday updates and new features.
  • Develop and maintain documentation (knowledge base articles, process flows, support procedures).
  • Provide user training as needed.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and audit compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in supporting Workday in a similar capacity.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of at least two Workday modules.
  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).
  • Familiarity with Workday security, reporting, and calculated fields.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote teams.
  • Prior experience with Australian payroll and compliance is beneficial.
