Job Title: Workday Business Analyst

We are seeking a senior workday functional consultant to join our offshore team and play a critical role in implementing and configuring workday solutions. This role is a great foundation for growth in product management, functional consulting, and/or business operations.


  • Partner with business stakeholders and product managers to understand requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into workday configurations, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Configure and maintain workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/uat cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Act as an anchor resource for the offshore team and provide leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants as the offshore team grows.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement workday configurations that meet business requirements.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to the offshore team.
  3. Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  5. Design and develop functional documentation and workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Skills
  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst or functional consultant, with at least 2-3 years working with workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of hr processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with workday hcm and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Workday module certifications.
  • Prior experience in setting up offshore/remote delivery models.
  • Exposure to product management career paths.
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and set up best practices for a growing offshore team.
  • Experience configuring and customizing other back-office saas platforms such as netsuite.
