Job Description

As a packaging operator, you will be responsible for performing various packaging operations in accordance with customer orders. This involves working with machinery to safely and efficiently package products.

You will troubleshoot equipment problems in a timely manner to minimize delays and ensure that production runs smoothly. Meeting deadlines for completing packaging orders is crucial to maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.

Cleaning machines and work areas at the end of each shift is also an important part of this role. You will need to ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that the work area is safe and clean.

In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for loading bags and cartons onto pallets as needed. Modifying packaging and weighing bags to meet customer specifications is also a key aspect of this role.

Compliance with operational policies and safety standards is essential in this position. If there are any equipment or production problems, you will need to notify your supervisor immediately.
