Job Title: Stripe Implementation Engineer

We are seeking an expert to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our Stripe platform. This role combines technical expertise with administrative ownership. The ideal candidate has successfully delivered a full Stripe implementation and can act as the subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations.

The position requires a deep understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management. Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions).
  • Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds.
  • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI, GDPR, KYC, and other regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules.
  • Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management.
