Job Title: Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber, and proficiency in JavaScript. You should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

About the Role
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
  • Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document test strategies, plans, and results for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine is desirable.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git Bitbucket).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
