Job Overview:

The Head of OEM Channel Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) channel. This dual-function position bridges sales and technical domains, ensuring that OEM partnerships are nurtured, revenue targets are met, and tailored technical solutions align with customer needs and organizational goals.

This role involves developing and executing the OEM channel strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. Key responsibilities include identifying, onboarding, and managing OEM partners, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. Collaboration with sales and marketing teams is crucial in creating channel-specific campaigns, incentives, and enablement programs.

OEM Channel Management:

  • Develop and execute the OEM channel strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage OEM partners, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create channel-specific campaigns, incentives, and enablement programs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with OEM partners to ensure profitability and alignment with company objectives.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities within the OEM ecosystem to maintain a competitive edge.

Solution Architecture:

  • Design and architect end-to-end technical solutions tailored to OEM partner and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with product development, engineering, and OEM partners to integrate company offerings into partner products or systems.
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise, including solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technical proposals.
  • Translate complex customer needs into scalable, cost-effective architectures that align with organizational capabilities.
  • Ensure solution designs meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing OEM partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Expertise in solution architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of OEM business models and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market needs and translate them into actionable strategies.
