Assembly Automation Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Automation Designer to lead the development of innovative assembly automation systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual designs and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge software.
  • Create 3D models, layouts, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Analyze design feasibility, estimate costs, and conduct reviews for proposed solutions.
  • Support prototype installation, commissioning activities, and customer site support.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 4-8 years of experience in assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.
  • Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly line design, gantry and pallet design, lifter and conveyor design, material handling system design, and assembly station tooling design.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and standard machine elements.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and actuation systems used in assembly automation.
