Assembly Automation Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Assembly Automation Solutions Specialist to design and develop cutting-edge assembly automation systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and implement assembly automation solutions for automotive and industrial applications.
  • Design and develop efficient assembly lines, stations, and fixtures for engine assembly, battery pack assembly, and other automated processes.
  • Create 3D models, layouts, and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge software.
  • Design gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for proposed solutions.
  • Support prototype development, installation, and commissioning activities at customer sites.
  • Ensure adherence to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards, industry best practices, and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.
  • Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly line design, gantry and pallet design, lifter and conveyor design, and material handling system design.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and standard machine elements.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and actuation systems used in assembly automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of automation standards, ergonomics, and safety requirements.
