Assembly Automation System Designer

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Automation Expert to design and develop assembly automation systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop assembly lines, stations, and fixtures for engine assembly, battery pack assembly, and other automated processes.
- Create 3D models, layouts, and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge.
- Design gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for proposed solutions.
- 4-8 years of experience in assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.
- Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and standard machine elements.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and actuation systems used in assembly automation.
The ideal candidate will hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering and possess proficiency in Solid Edge. Additionally, knowledge of automation standards, ergonomics, and safety requirements is highly desirable.
