Job Title: Strategic Business Development Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Managing Consultant to join our team in the Building Material Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions with clients to elaborate on proposed improvements, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
  • Define problems concisely and hypothesize solutions, leveraging expertise in research, supply chain management, manufacturing excellence, customer experience, and sustainability.
  • Develop and present plans to implement recommended changes, driving operational efficiencies and growth.
  • Support sales teams on business development activities, such as pursuit development and thought leadership papers, fostering collaboration and strategic thinking.
  • Guide clients on business process optimizations to improve operational capabilities, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Identify business impacts and resolve scope and boundary issues, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of advisory or consulting experience in building material industries, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  • Strong interest in providing advisory services across research, supply chain management, manufacturing excellence, customer experience, and sustainability.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional client service, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and senior client executives.
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to drive results-oriented initiatives, ensuring business outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
  • Postgraduate degree in MBA Marketing, Operations, or Finance, demonstrating a strong foundation in business principles and practices.
