Job Title: Operations Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to drive business growth, retention, and expansion in our Auto Logistics Division and Inland Transportation segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in Request for Quote (RFQ) processes, new enquiries, understanding client requirements, and designing solutions tailored to their needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yard, in-plant, and warehousing industry product flow processes, as well as excellent analytical skills to analyze manpower productivity and calculate efficient resource allocation. Additionally, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with operations teams for operational insights and support business development requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To participate in RFQ processes, new enquiries, understand client requirements, and design solutions tailored to their needs.
  • To comprehend yard, in-plant, and warehousing industry product flow processes, analyze manpower productivity, and calculate efficient resource allocation.
  • To prepare process flowcharts, resource mapping, and manpower allocation strategies.
  • To derive operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) for projects.
  • To collaborate with Operations teams for operational insights and support business development requirements.
  • To analyze historical data to provide flexible cost-saving solutions.
  • To assist in contract negotiations and finalize commercials to offer cost-effective solutions.
  • To coordinate with Project Implementation Teams and ensure smooth project implementation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in Contract Logistics Domain.
  • Good understanding of In-plant, yard operations, and warehousing business in multiple industries.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research and strategic analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to work on solutions.
  • Market/Business Intelligence.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • High competency in working with Microsoft Office.
