Job Title: Storage Infrastructure Specialist
Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a skilled Storage Infrastructure Specialist to manage the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments. This includes collaborating with support teams, participating in problem-solving and troubleshooting, and providing network configuration and administration.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mid-range and enterprise storages operations support, including zoning via CISCO SAN Switches and monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track.
- Manage infrastructure events, including capacity management and performance data analysis.
- Resolve problems through preliminary diagnosis and coordination with global support teams.
- Investigate and diagnose raised problems or problem records for root cause analysis.
- Mentor and train junior administrators.
- Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with mid-range and enterprise storages operations support.
- Zoning via CISCO SAN Switches.
- Monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8+ years of experience handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above, as well as exposure to operations and management activities on storage systems and unified compute platforms.
