Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement and execution activities. This role will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, from identifying new suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To identify and evaluate new suppliers based on their quality management systems (QMS) and financial stability.
  • To negotiate with suppliers and recommend the most competitive option for procurement.
  • To manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure that they are executed on time.
  • To coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control (QC), Design Engineering Centre (DEC), and Production Management Group (PMG) to resolve supplier-related issues.
  • To implement internal procurement strategies to meet high delivery and short lead time requirements.
  • To travel to supplier locations as required to oversee execution activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar role at Larsen & Toubro.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in supply chain management.

Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum (depending on experience)
