
UK Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute and manage UK and Ireland Payrolls.
- Manage weekly and monthly Payrolls for multiple clients with a deep understanding of payroll compliance and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to the checklist, generate ad-hoc reports to analyze payroll data and identify trends.
- Maintain and publish periodic dashboards to provide insights into payroll performance.
- Conduct quality assurance of payrolls prepared by payroll administrators, with a deep understanding of variance analysis and reconciliation of data.
- Provide comprehensive solutions to all payroll-related queries from internal stakeholders and clients.
- Meet stringent standards set out in Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor submissions of Real Time Information (RTI) FPS, EPS, and year-end submissions to HMRC as per the set deadlines.
- Prepare and send timely form P30 & P32 to all clients every month after validating PAYE liability.
- Calculate and process Statutory Pay, including Maternity pay, Paternity pay, Sick pay, and Adoption pay, and keep track of these details and update clients regularly.
- Have knowledge of statutory and non-statutory deductions, including Tax, NIC, Student Loan, attachment of earnings, and pensions.
- Process BACS payments for employees and HMRC, and submit third-party remittances to various pension providers.
- Identify and calculate net over/under-payments from historic pay runs and send required schedules to clients.
- Plan, monitor, and manage activities independently, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold an MBA or Business Graduate degree with a finance background.
- Have between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience managing and processing UK payroll.
- Possess excellent English communication skills.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Focus on internal and external client needs, delivering results with a sense of urgency.
- Work with integrity, making decisions that align with company values.
- Think critically, anticipating and solving problems proactively.
- Build positive working relationships with energy and enthusiasm.
