**Design and Engineering Manager - Solar EPC Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced Design and Engineering Manager to lead our solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in designing and managing large-scale solar projects.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and adhere to industry standards. They will also be responsible for developing and reviewing design plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of engineers and designers in creating and implementing solar projects
  • Managing the design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards
  • Optimizing designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management. Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope is also required.

Preferred skills include expertise in optimizing designs to meet client requirements, strong understanding of electrical drawings and OEM supply documents, and the ability to stay updated with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design.

This role demands strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements and present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.
