Digital Trading Leadership

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Digital Media Strategist to lead our digital trading efforts in India.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, client satisfaction, and business expansion.
  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience in digital media trading, investment, or buying within a top-tier media agency.
  • They will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including media owners, publishers, and vendors.
  • The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen skills, as well as the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. BUILD AND OVERSEE DIGITAL TRADING CAPABILITY: Lead strategic relationships with media partners and collaborate with account teams to deliver best-in-class media campaigns.
  2. Achieve financial targets by enhancing agency trading strength and ensuring long-term value creation for clients.
  3. Evolve trading positions with key partners to reflect business strategy and market dynamics.
  4. Maintain supply side management best practice while delivering innovative media solutions that meet client objectives.
  5. Serve as an ambassador for the business, connecting across internal and external networks to help deliver the operating model and build the business.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of experience in digital media trading, investment, or buying within a top-tier media agency.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue, value delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Strong client-facing experience with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of digital media trading across performance, brand, OTT, programmatic, and social channels.
  • Proven negotiation and commercial acumen, with ability to deliver value and revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of media rates, benchmarking, and pricing dynamics.
  • Established relationships with leading publishers, platforms, and vendors.
  • Ability to conceptualize and sell event integrations and sponsorship packages.
  • Collaborative leadership style with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
