Observability Engineer Role

 

  • We're seeking an observability engineer to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement a full-stack observability platform for .NET Core applications using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo.
  • Ensure complete instrumentation of end-to-end visibility for all services.
  • Design and maintain distributed tracing, metrics, and logging pipelines.
  • Create actionable alerts and ensure noise-free monitoring across key infrastructure components, applications, and databases.
  • Maintain the observability stack as code with repeatable deployments and easy scaling.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Deep knowledge of .NET Core application observability using OpenTelemetry.
  • Proficiency with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and related observability tools.
  • Azure infrastructure monitoring expertise including App Services and VMs.
  • Experience monitoring MSSQL databases (deadlocks, query performance, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Alert building and tuning expertise for production systems.
