Job Title: Sr Observability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to join our team. This is a key role in the development and implementation of our observability strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain observability systems for monitoring and notification technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure and application monitoring meets business requirements.
  • Develop and execute scripts using TypeScript, React, Ansible, and Python for automating tasks and workflows.
  • Assist in the creation of ITIL-based incident management processes.
  • Provide expertise in containerized environments (K8) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Dynatrace and Pagerduty.
  • Scripting knowledge with JavaScript, Ansible, and Python.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Change management expertise.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automation tools and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Interest in cloud-native applications and serverless architecture.
  • CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Fundamentals certification.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
