Senior IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing technical support for complex infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level technical support for Citrix environments, including Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), Cloud, and ADC (Netscaler).
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, resolving escalated incidents efficiently.
  • Optimize and manage Citrix infrastructure, including provisioning services (PVS), machine creation services (MCS), StoreFront, Workspace Environment Management (WEM), and Citrix Director.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and load balancing for Citrix environments.
  • Patch, upgrade, and maintain Citrix components with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and availability of the Citrix infrastructure, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver seamless end-user experiences.
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or scripting.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop).
  • Expertise in Citrix ADC (Netscaler), Citrix StoreFront, Director, WEM, PVS, MCS.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management.
  • Experience with Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is an added advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPN).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
