Cloud Engineering Specialist

Our team seeks a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Specialist to spearhead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Developing expertise in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, Terraform, and CFT to streamline workflow and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure requirements and develop use cases that meet business needs.
  • Leading project development and planning, ensuring quality control testing procedures are in place to guarantee successful outcomes.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with end-users to identify infrastructure requirements and develop use cases.
  • Working closely with the engineering, operations, security, and compliance teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Documenting design specifications for all use cases.
  • Staying up-to-date with best practices regarding system security measures.
  • Applying advanced understanding of platform engineering, customer experience, and design architecture principles.
  • Collaborating with the Scrum Master and Product Manager to prioritize release items and plan sprints.
  • Working alongside architects, design experts, and operations teams to integrate new solutions and provide post-release operational support.
  • Supporting cloud product releases and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the AWS cloud platform services, be proficient in scripting skills, including Bash and Python, and possess strong leadership and collaboration skills.
