About Our Mission



We are witnessing a concerning disconnection among young Indians. As cities become increasingly urbanized, people spend more time indoors and online, leading to less meaningful connections in real life. Even the most tender human experiences such as dating, friendship, and collaboration often take place behind screens.

Our goal is to change this narrative. We aim to build a platform and movement that brings young Indians together again – to read books, debate politics, brainstorm startups, volunteer, flirt, run, play games, or simply find genuine community in whatever way they prefer.

The format of our platform will evolve over time as we learn more about what audiences desire, but our mission remains clear: facilitate meaningful, offline connections among young Indians.

Your Role

As Technical Co-Founder, you will lead the development of our entire platform – from its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product & Platform Development:
    - Design and implement the MVP, featuring host listings, event discovery feeds, booking and ticketing systems, and payments.
  • Marketplace Features:

- Architect marketplace features, including host dashboards, ticket pricing, waitlists, cancellation policies, and venue integration.


  • Tech Leadership:

- Own the technical vision, architecture, and infrastructure.


  • Safety & Trust:

- Implement safety and trust features, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) for hosts, reviews/ratings, and fraud prevention.


  • Team & Growth:

- Recruit, mentor, and lead an engineering team.


Requirements
We seek a highly skilled individual with a strong engineering background, preferably in mobile-first products using React Native/Flutter and Node/Python, along with experience in cloud infrastructure. Building marketplaces or social platforms is highly desirable.


Benefits
