Senior Production Manager

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can lead the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes to ensure timely production of high-quality precast elements.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Manager to oversee our end-to-end manufacturing and operations.

• Develop and manage daily/weekly/monthly production schedules for precast elements.
• Ensure smooth execution of production plans aligned with project timelines.
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams for maximum uptime.
• Enforce quality control standards for concrete mix, casting, curing and finishing.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or delivery.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, in line with statutory and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage production budgets, including labor, material and equipment costs.
• Analyze production metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with planning, QA/QC, stores, and logistics for seamless coordination.
• Maintain inventory control for raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel) and precast elements.
• Lead, coach and develop production staff and labour teams.
• Conduct training programs for new hires and existing staff on production techniques and safety.
• Ensure optimal use of molds, pallets, and lifting gear for resource efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to production, safety, and quality.
• Participate in client or project coordination meetings for delivery planning.
• Support Plant Head in plant-level decision-making, including capacity expansion, new equipment procurement, layout planning and resource development.
• Participate in strategic planning of molds, automation, cranes, and batching plants.
• Assist in formulating and revising plant policies, SOPs, and cost-saving measures.
• Play a key role in root-cause analysis and resolution of recurring plant-level issues.
• Provide input to senior management on production forecasts, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Take ownership of plant engineering functions such as utilities, equipment calibration, and minor civil/mechanical works.
• Evaluate and pilot technical innovations, process automation, and managerial best practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and have 10+ years' experience including strong exposure to precast production.
